How We Began

Scott and Nikkie Corbin with Matthew, Gabrielle, and JeremiahFor years before receiving the call to start a local church, Scott Corbin (and later along with his wife Nikkie) had a ministry called The Saviour Is Waiting Ministries.  The ministry began under this name in 1996.  It has grown into a television outreach and this local church.

Over the years, many tracts, tapes, CDs, and Bibles have been given away by the ministry as Scott and Nikkie have attempted to fulfill the Great Commission.

Scott and Nikkie have a son, Matthew Scott, born July 30, 2003, and a daughter, Gabrielle Nichole, born March 19, 2005, and another son, Jeremiah James, born May 4, 2007.

More About the Church

Truth Chapel is an independent full Gospel church that is all about the preaching and teaching of the uncompromised Truth (the message of the Cross...Christ and Him crucified), and is affiliated with World Evangelism Fellowship (WEF).  WEF is the fellowship of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, LA, a group of ministers and churches who share the same doctrine and passion for reaching the world with the Gospel.

Ministries

Normally the pastor preaches on Sunday mornings (10 a.m.) and Nikkie preaches on Sunday evenings (6 p.m.). On Wednesday nights (7:15 p.m.), after praise and worship, the remainder of the service is devoted to prayer.

The church has a room designated as a nursery, containing crib and rockers.

Truth Chapel has a Women's Ministry group that meets one evening every month for Bible study, activities, prayer, and outreach.

The pastor's ministry called The Saviour Is Waiting Ministries has been in operation for over 10 years and has done various local outreaches, as well as radio and television programs.
