About

Scott and Nikkie Corbin were each involved in ministry for years prior to beginning a church. Scott had his own ministry, The Saviour Is Waiting Ministries, which involved various outreaches such as offering free tracts and tapes, a radio ministry, and more. Nikkie taught Sunday School for children at her local church, worked at church youth camps, and so forth. After meeting each other, the two began visiting nursing homes and ministering to the residents.

Through the years, God has given them many different opportunities to minister. In 2002, the couple married and in early 2004, God began dealing with their hearts concerning pastoring a church. After much prayer and preparation, the doors to Truth Chapel World Evangelism Fellowship Church were opened in September 2004.

They began renting a facility on South Pine Street which is where they are still currently located. The facility has a large lobby that is also used as a fellowship hall and is used for the children's classes. It also has a sanctuary that can seat close to 100, filled with pews that were donated by another church. There is also a small nursery, a small kitchen, and 2 bathrooms.

In 2010, the church was given 6 acres of land and purchased 5 additional adjacent acres on Hickory Hill Road. They immediately cleared about 3 acres and built a park and playground area where the audio of Sonlife Broadcasting Network of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries is continuously played and a platform was built that can be used throughout the year for preaching, singings, and other ministry events. In the near future, a church will be built on the property.

Scott and Nikkie are parents to Matthew, Gabrielle, Jeremiah, and Elijah. To learn more about their family, visit their personal webpage, www.thecorbinclan.com.
